YouTube randomly deleting videos from playlist

YouTube is pretty much my Spotify at this point. I have a playlist of about 90 songs. I got ready to do the yard and noticed it shrunk by about 50%. These videos weren’t removed from YouTube, just my playlist. If I searched for a video they removed, I immediately found it. It wasn’t like the videos were deleted from the app because of copyright issues or anything. I kept messing around on the app and found that if I sorted videos based on the date I saved them, I would see some that magically disappeared if I sorted any other way. This helped me recover some, but I’m still missing about 20 or so.
I’m slightly more pissed than I probably should be.
Anywho, anybody else have this happen?

Older videos, even from successful YouTubers, struggle to stay on the service in a normal listing. Take a YouTuber who has 2,000 videos spanning 10 years, they will regularly have videos fall off of their main "Videos" tab. Some of them have started taking down and reposting older videos that are worth it to get around this.
I don't know if that has anything to do with your issue.

My solution has been to grab the audio before vids disappear. I have a massive library and burn my own CDs and can make Media Player playlists to listen to. I still sometimes go back to the vids to watch performers but if it's gone at least I have the audio.
