Following a blood trail to it's source is going above and beyond the call of duty? not understanding your point here

The 13 year old was in cuffs at one point. Also sounds like she was having an affair. Could the husband have hired a hit?

Interesting there is no job description for the husband and zero social media on him as well.

Husband didn’t do it, her 13 yo son did. Look at the images of the person pulling the bag, thats a child. Im thinking the 13 yo son found out she cheated on his father and got angry and then killed her. I think the cops know this also but are building the case right now and waiting to arrest.
Who drags a body a quarter of a mile down a sidewalk when you could have easily driven it and not risk being caught? A 13 yo child that can’t drive! And how convenient is it that the bag that drug her was his bag? Come on!

Also, how would the killer know her code to get into the phone? Thinking her son did it. If she was having an affair, she most definitely had a password. Her son probably knew it.

Are you suggesting that an assisted living patient should be considered a suspect? wtf

Was it her idea to send the kid to school in Portland?

If so she might have deserved it.

Maybe, but I don't think he would have been like, "nahh I can't drive to dump my mom's body, that would be illegal."

Whose phone was the message sent from?

Seems suspicious that she was killed inside the home while her 13 year old son was there at the same time her husband just happened to be out of town.

I don’t think that makes the husband suspicious.. I think it makes the 13 year old son suspicious.

However I can’t imagine a 13 year old dismembering a body like that, putting it in a duffel bag and hauling it off.

Maybe the killer parked a quarter of a mile away and walked to the house to wait on her.

The thing that doesn’t make sense is why even move the body? You’d only do that if you were trying to make it look like the person was missing or killed somewhere else. There’s no way the crime scene was cleaned so that it can be played off like she was missing.

And why would the killer go through the trouble of removing the body only to leave it on a sidewalk a relatively short distance away from the house to be easily found?

If it was really someone who killed her in revenge of putting them in jail, there would be no point in removing the body from the crime scene.

That points to it being done by the son who wasn’t thinking all of this through. I’m thinking he killed her, said oh shite I gotta get rid of the body, and hauled it away. Realized he didn’t have anywhere to go with it and just ditched it. Then sent the message to make it seem like it was someone else.

Does anyone else find this family dynamic kind of weird? Do 51 year old mothers often leave their 13 year old son at home and go out on Friday nights without their husband and return at 2 in the morning?
