1.) Dc - Every American should see the Smithsonian and the monuments.
2) NYC - so much to do for everyone, a great huge city
3) Central Colorado - my favorite area of the country, beautiful and lots to do
4) San Francisco - Great city for food and being a tourist. Always cool weather, may need a jacket in August.
5) New Orleans - A great place to visit even the haters would agree.

Maybe not the five greatest places to visit in all of America, but these are my top five that I've visited. I loved every minute of the drive from Anchorage to Fairbanks Alaska and it's something I'll do again one day.
1.Denali National Park, Alaska and the Matanuska-Susitna Borrough
2.Estes Park, Colorado & The Rocky Mtn. National Park
3. Waikiki Beach on Oahu, Hawaii / The Road to Heavenly Hana on Maui
4. The Grand Canyon
5. Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and the Smokey Mountain National Forest
