I'm 6' even @ 200# and I still have a doughnut. Good news is I hit a new best on my deadlift @225 for a 5 rep set. My goal is to have my 5x5 numbers total over 1,000# by Memorial Day. Currently at 760#. Hopefully I can slim down to around 190 by then.

I go to the bank and courthouse daily. In good weather I will walk. Its about a mile round trip from my office. Some days its the only exercise I have time for.

If you're making gainz like that though, should you really be focusing that much on your body weight?

I only eat twice a day at 6pm and 10pm. Keeps me pretty lean year round and I'm able to progress in the gym and enjoy any social gatherings without worrying about calories.

I'm not focused on my body weight at all. I am just hoping I can drop down 10 or so pounds as I continue to get stronger. More reshape my body.

Question for this thread. What about Intermittent Fasting with eating two healthy meals a day. Working out 5-6 days a week but having a few glasses of wine each night and a cheat day on Saturday?

I do IF but my cheat days are rare. Haven't had one this year, last one was Christmas. And I am bulking, not cutting.

If you want a weekly cheat day do the slow carb diet. Otherwise you have to limit them. A cheat day can undo an entire weeks worth of progress

A lot of people think IF gives them a free pass to eat whatever. I think the main benefits of IF are mental.

If you are trying to lose weight I'd drop the alcohol or limit it severely. It's the 4th macro nutrient

I lost 53 pounds, went from 205 to 152, in 9 months doing Lean Gains, where you eat a lot of carbs on workout days

I find it funny how the carb police in the Put the Fork down thread would criticize me for eating carbs, yet I am one of the few people who have ever posted in that thread who actually reached their weight loss goal

Eating at a deficit is how you lose weight. Not avoiding carbs
How many times must it be explained to you that weight loss is not the only goal. With the absurd (400+g/day) amount of carbs you eat, there is a good chance your body is a brewing shitstorm of future poor health. This has almost nothing to do with your weight (although it will be amplified if you ever lose control of your weight.) The level of insulin your cells are being bombarded with is like the blitzkrieg.
