I was fat at 190 pounds at 6 feet tall, so at 5'8 190 you have to be ripped not to be fat

Lasix.

Went from right at 260 in early November to 206 a month later. This morning I stepped on the scales at 190.

You sound like one of those teenage girls with an eating disorder. I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs. and I look like I just walked out the gates of a Concentration camp.

That's because you're used to seeing yourself at 260.

I'm 5'11" and 185 lbs., and I could stand to lose at least another five pounds.

I was only that size for like 6 months. As for my weight, I'm where my doctor wants me to be. If he says 190 is a healthy weight for me, I'll take him at his word.

You've lost a lot of weight and are on a path to recovery after a heart attack. Of course you're more healthy now.

Damn, I am 5'11" but 220. I haven't seen 185 since high school and I am 45. However, I got into powerlifting then too and have been around 220-230 ever since. The only time I cut down from that weight is one Summer when I did some jits tournaments where I needed to be under 200 for a weight class. I got down to 207 and then cut the last 8 2 days before weigh ins but quickly put that shite back on.

I actually never had a heart attack from what I've been told. What I had was stage 4 congestive heart failure.

As for my current weight, this is not just while I'm recovering from all that, this is where I've been told by my docotor is the best weight range for a male of my height and age. I'm 46 FWIW.

I wouldn't call something you can go buy at a CVS cheating. But if you see it that way, then sure. I cheated, but I look good, so I don't really care.

Yeah, I thought I was a huge piece of shite being at 210 and 6'1. Someone being 5'8, 190 sounds pretty damn fat.

I was at 220 about three years ago, but it most certainly was not from powerlifting. It was from sitting on my arse all day and powerlifting bags of potato chips.

This thread is full of the

CARB POLICE!!!!!!

Carbs are literally Hitler! They will kill you if you eat one gram of them.

Dude, you've already demonstrated thoroughly in another thread your puerile nutrition-knowledge level. Your hyperbole does nothing to improve that status.

Biochemistry is mysterious but now very easily analyzed using the scientific method. I recommend you read up.

Fwiw , I just had the daily lunch combo at Farm Burger, complete with bun and fries. It was an Anderson Farms pork burger w pimento and cheese. I'll get back into keto in a couple days. I'm very well fat adapted and I exercise daily so it is an easy transition.

I actually eat lots of carbs via green leafy veggies, nuts, yogurt, berries, seeds, etc. Lots of fiber. But that was the first hamburger bun or potatoes I'd had in ages.

When I go way over on daily carb intake, I manage my ketosis and fat adaptation through intermittent fasting, exercise, and fat fasts, and monitor with a blood ketone meter periodically.

No one said carbs were the devil, but it you want to be in nutritional ketosis and/or become and remain fat adapted, then you have to limit them.

If you don't care about all of the health benefits of that, then fine. But your schtick is cringeworthy.

Powerlift for strength and size in the offseason

In the competition season, I am a natural bodybuilder, weighing in around 160-165

I could never cut that kind of weight. I tried to do a physique competition about a year ago with a buddy of mine. Two weeks out I said frick it. I don't have the mental fortitude to cut that kind of weight
