It's not his fault. It's Buchanan's fault. He did nothing!

There is more gold in the sediment that makes the Mississippi river delta (in the Gulf of Mexico) then has ever been mined everywhere.

The 1919 White Sox, who infamously threw the World Series due to the supposed frugality and pettiness of owner Charles Comiskey, actually had the highest payroll in baseball.

The entirety of all gold that has ever been mined in history could fit inside of an olympic-sized swimming pool

Wrong

quote:
If an Olympic-sized swimming pool has a volume of 2.5 million liters, then we divide and get our answer. So we would need 3.27 swimming pools to hold the entire global supply of gold, which some argue is the entire amount of gold mined since before the Egyptians began mining gold before 2000 BC.

There are people/states/institutions lying about how much gold they have.

Secondly, my stat comes from before the Hoffman family went up to Alaska to set up shop.

But even if it is only 3 swimming pools, it is still a cool stat.

That's pretty good. I see it was 2008 when she died. She married the 86 year old Civil war veteran in 1934 when she was 19.
