There were so many guys that soaked themselves in Polo before school in the 80s that I can still smell it 35 years later.

In the 80s it was Polo or Kouros.

Cologne stings the nostrils. Shows weakness and desperation. Undermines the confidence in your own god given smell. Invades the privacy of smell of others. Put it on in the bedroom in private if you must. On the other hand if you stink naturally go ahead and put on a little for the sake of your fellow human beings. Just a little if needed but not enough to infringe on others to much.

Halston I-12. I know Z-14 was beloved but 12 worked for me. Honorable mention was the original Polo in the Green bottle. Now? Whatever the scent is of my shower gel.

I used to wear Polo Sport, now I wear Creed Tabarome. I don't wear cologne very often though. Maybe once or twice a month.

I dab on a little sandalwood/citrus essential oils. I haven’t purchased a cologne since I was in HS, but back then it was Aqua Di Gio.

I got this habit from my Dad.
And picked up a few additional ones in Jr. High School, High School and College.
Apparently sex sells.
Use the Old Spice to this day. Passed on that habit to youngest son and he apparently likes it enough to use it occasionally with other more contemporary fragrances.

The middle and high school hallways smelled like Polo and Drakkar.
I have 3 bottles of cologne in a bathroom drawer, 2 still in the box. A bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance I've had for probably 20 years, a bottle of some Tommy Bahama stuff my mom gave me years ago, and some Giorgio Armani stuff in a black box. No idea where the last one came from. I haven't worn cologne in probably 15 years.

I never liked men's cologne. I prefer my man to just smell clean.

Had a bottle of Chaps when I was a kid
Drakkar and Polo in high school
Had a bottle of something in my 20s, can’t remember what
In my 30s I had a bottle of Dolce and Gabana that I gave to my son a few years ago
In my 40s I have nothing, never wore cologne on a regular basis to begin with, don’t think I’ve ever finished a single bottle

Brute. Because all the Playboy bunnies love it so it read in their likes.

I remember a couple of vehicles that had the permanent smell of Polo in them because the little bastards had driven them to school every morning reeking of it.
