For me, it was the state license plates for bicycles in Honeycomb cereal.

Well with the recent Round up/Monsanto lawsuit, I would say Glyphosate. It was never a prize at the time, unbeknownst to us. It was just there killing us slowly.
Just kidding.
I don’t recall getting or shooting for a specific cereal for a prize. My favorite though was Fruity Pebbles or Chocolate Pebbles.

I was always pretty stoked about the little octopus things that climbed down the wall.

Garfield pad locks! I don't remember which cereals we got them from, but they were very popular when I was in 4th grade.

Absolutely. I had completely forgot about collecting those.

Yes, they still do this. I recently got a glow in the dark Star Wars spoon out of some cereal (maybe Reese's cereal).
I cannot recall any prize that really stuck out from my childhood.
I do remember being disappointed when I see some awesome prize on the box and realizing after I get home that it's a mail-in prize when you buy three boxes or something

Frosted Flakes 3D baseball cards. I dug to the bottom of quite a few brand new boxes to get to them. If I was a bright kid I’d have just opened it from the bottom.

I remember being so excited pulling out an old vinyl 45 with the single Ghostbusters theme by Ray Parker Jr around 1989

I won a full size regulation basketball from a box of Frosted Flakes when I was 9 yrs old.
Seems like I waited forever after sending in the winning card.
But it showed up and I was the boss of the block with my new ball!

The ones from my childhood
They are now politically incorrect
They would now be subject to child swallowing lawsuits
They would be deemed male only, so sexist
That being said, nothing like conducting a good air war at the breakfast table!

I won a BMX bicycle from a box of Smurf-berry Crunch Cereal when I was in the 5th grade.

Toys r us shopping spree in Cap’n Crunch. I didn’t like the cereal, but I forced myself to eat it because momma wasn’t wasting food. Beau coup boxes were eaten attempting to win that shopping spree.
