There are plenty of oilfield folks in Broussard and Youngsville.

Both my BILs from New Iberia work in the oil field and live in Youngsville. I was there for thanksgiving and saw that jacked up roundabout.

I know someone with a camp there. Its not all that bad. Im not saying its awesome or anything, but I guess anywhere you go with friends and there is drinking, playing cards, etc its going to be a good time, but there are worse areas to go.

So this story broke Mar 26. It’s now Mar 30. I give it until say… April 6 or so for this broad and the derpy redneck police chief both resign.
May be before that but I really get the feeling they’re in denial right now.
Ultimately more embarrassing for them but much more deliciously entertaining for me.

He’s not going to resign. He doubled down yesterday

Yes he will
Mayor and rest of council can make his life miserable if he doesnt

I watched the video. The cop didn’t do his job. I get the chief of police was there but it wasn’t the chief’s investigation.

Good to have Clean back on the scene!

So she does have some sense. Let's see what Rickey does.

Her resignation contained a small part aboot her bad actions, but was mostly praise for herself, and her friends for being so awesome as a governing board.
Arrogance: Off [Still on]
ETA: How many times did her dissertation/resignation say Me/My/I?

Damn. That was quick. I seriously thought she'd be the type to flutily fight it.
The police chief looks a little more foolish so I could see him digging his heels in. Ultimately though, he will meet the same resignation fate.

I would say that she should be exiled but I can’t think of too many places worse to live than Youngsville

She's now an advocate of head trauma, lol. More like 5 head trauma.

This statement on par with Reaux’s initial excuse as full of shite.

There are a couple of paths here.
1. She maintains the status quo, still attends events acting like nothing happened and keeps drinking and acting like she's above it all. If she's lucky and a little more careful, she doesn't get in trouble again.
2. She spirals and ends up getting a DWI in a worse accident. Then goes to rehab if she doesn't end up hurting someone and doing time.
3. She learns something from this and starts counseling or outpatient rehab immediately. Then she becomes more humble and uses her small town powers for good.
