You’re probably right, and if this is a dui cover up and MADD gets involved he won’t have any choice.

Ken (mayor) had to call this emergency meeting to save HIS future job. He ran un-opposed in Nov. 2022 and has done a decent job during his tenure as Mayor. This story has turned into the snowball rolling downhill gaining local, national, and international attention. If Ken sits on his arse and does nothing, he is seen as being part of the "good ol boys club". Both Ricky (Police Chief) and Reaux will likely lose their public elected positions. Each should be held accountable for their lack of integrity and violating professional ethics. I plan to attend the meeting if it's open to the public.

Somebody in a hummer ran clean thru it at 3am on a Saturday night on October 30th. They pulled a 180 then drove off and ditched their vehicle about a mile away. My buddy saw it happen.
The chief gave an interview the next day saying he was not releasing name due to ongoing investigation and driver was likely distracted. Woman was given a summons, not cuffed or booked, and nothing has been heard since.
He absolutely covered up a DUI for someone else. He also suggested the councilwoman was “distracted”.

Like I said before, this is an absolute certainty. But what's going to be fun is watching them somehow think they can wriggle themselves off the hook.

Watching grown people dig themselves in these epic holes is always hilarious to me. I get the impression they know the walls are closing in fast but hopefully they're too stupid to realize it and keep crawfishing, if not for anything but my enjoyment.

How were they not able to determine if she was impaired due to the injuries she had? Regarding the roundabout drive through.

you live in the "Ville" baw ?

been a resident here since the early 90's

urban growth is out of control and won't be surprised if the population and housing triples in the next decade. Too much sugar cane land that can be sold and developed into new subdivisions.

Was he in the car with her? Why the sling and bandage on his nose?

I’m pretty sure the cops found the woman that ran through it about a mile down from the roundabout.
She was arrested. Not unsolved. Yes a woman drove through it, can you believe it!

She is on FB, painting herself as a victim. A victim of getting head injuries. The injuries are the culprit that made her say those evil things. She never 'splained the drunkenness that caused the wreck and injuries.

They have aboot 350 comments, all unable to be seen, except for 6 that are complimentary of her, or putting down people that would speak ill of her. If you are taking up for this criminal,

She has no idea what she said because of the head injury, but she does know what she said was out of character for her.

How does she know she didn't tell the officer that she likes cookies and pie? Maybe she's just lying. I guess we will just have to believe the videos.

Out of curiosity how would two elected officials lose their job unless charges and a conviction happen? Does the city have the power to remove them?
