Sorry but I gotta chime in here. This thread has cracked me up the past 2 days, mainly because I know Hammertime. Reading it in his voice makes it that much more hilarious. I went to high school with him. Hung out a bit in college with him. Probably haven't seen him since '06 but I see he hasn't changed.
I'm gonna actually say that 95% of this story is true. He's done and said a lot dumber stuff in the past. I bet he split 2.5 bottles of Jack with a few friends. I bet he did fight a dude. The thing with the knuckles is something that only he would say. The part he left out was that he probably smoked a carton of cigs that night too.

He left out a bunch of details about the fight. He graduated HS in 02 so I'm sure he wasn't at a tigerland bar. He's a smoker so maybe he lured the peanut thrower out into the parking lot where his uber driver was waiting. Again, I haven't seen him in about 10 years but this story really isn't out of the norm for him. He might be stretching the truth on the 2.5 bottles of Jack but as a former drinking buddy of his, he can drink with the best of them. Never actually saw him fight but knew that he liked to talk about fighting when he drinks. None of this story surprises me, which is sad I know.

Hammertime lived with his gf all through college so he never really went out to the bars with us. He was a house/apt party type of a guy. So he was surrounded by friends with no reason to fight. I'm sure if he went out more he would have fought more often?

I actually believe it more now. After you and downshift and floor it said you know the guy, it makes it more credible.
