Young Tensas Parish man with down syndrome meets favorite rapper Lil Boosie

TENSAS PARISH, La. (KNOE) - A young Tensas Parish man with down syndrome was living his best life last week. Phillip Thomas met his favorite rapper, Torrence Hatch Jr., also known as 'Lil Boosie.'
Hatch hosted his annual Boosie Bash in Baton Rouge on March 17th. Thomas' family says they worked all year to be sure he could meet the rapper in person.
His family says he is such a big fan of the rapper that Thomas is known as 'Lil Boosie' around the parish.
They also say Thomas writes and raps his own music too.
