Young people: Would you be able to get to and from places without GPS?

I felt so disappointed as a parent teaching my kids to drive. The SOBs had no idea where any was or how to get anywhere without their phone.

Pro tip: Keep the blindfold on.

Of course, I could just keep googling directions to the address from my current location

I navigated myself from BR to Texas via a whole bunch of rural highways through the middle of nowhere using a gas station map during hurricane evacuation in 04 when I-10 was a parking lot. I think I can manage without a GPS

Seriously? Do y’all think people GPS their way to every place they ever go? Using Waze to check traffic is not the same too.

I grew up taking road trips almost every year. We had our big State Farm atlas that I would looks through all the time. My parents would find different ways around if there was a wreck or something.

Could you get anywhere without an atlas, Gramps?
