Anyone that's been in a plane above 25-30,000 feet has probably seen the curvature of the Earth. Fly across the Pacific Ocean and notice your flight from LA to Seoul isn't a straight line. Not that hard to figure out. From a flat-Earther perspective, all those planes are flying hundreds of miles out of their way.

No. Even if the Earth was a globe this would be an impossibility. We have testimonies from several pilots saying that no curvature can be seen at Commercial Airline heights. It has been suggested that airplane windows serve to distort the view of passengers and make them believe they see curvature when indeed there is none. This was likely a ploy by early airline companies to sell more tickets.

Is the /r/flatearth sub mostly full of trolls at this point? I'd really like to understand this mindset, particularly what they believe is to be gained by duping the world at large in to believing we exist on a spheroid instead of a disc.

Pilots and scientists alike admit that commercial plans never fly high enough to see a curvature.

I just kind of assume that the whole thing is a troll/joke. I don't think that I can actually believe that anyone is being serious about flat earth. Even in that website in the FAQ section it has this question:
