You shouldn't own a dog if you're not willing to jump through hoops.
Owning a fricking pitbull seems exhausting. Can't do this, oh don't do that, can't look at them a certain way, don't put your face next to theirs, no feeding after midnight, etc, etc.

No chart is legit without the most dangerous of dogs--the dreaded minature Goldendoodle. Those dogs are the Napoleon of dog species.

And that's just using data prior to 2011.
I can imagine it's much worse now.

Every dog I've ever owned just needed food, exercise and love. None of them ever attacked anything.

At the end of the day, pits just aren't family pets. They're still working dogs, and it just so happens that the job they were bred for doesn't exist anymore.
Cane Corso for law enforcement.
belgian malinois for miliary and search and rescue. Throw german shepards in there as well.
Labs/goldens for bird dogs.
Hounds for tracking.
Border Collies for herding.
Great Pyrenees for protecting livestock.
I could go on. There seriously isn't a reason why this breed should still exist on earth and there are thousands of dog breeds out there that are just suitable for family pets.
Why have a loaded gun on your kitchen table 24/7?

Is this more of an indictment on the breed or the people who own pit bulls and how they raise them?

They are used for hog hunting all the time.

I'm surprised a dalmatian isn't on that list. They're biters.

I've had many dogs in the past but that one has the best disposition out of any. Maybe just a one off, I don't know.

And? I can teach most breeds to hunt. Genetically, pits were created to use their bite force for bull baiting, and then eventually fighting when it was outlawed.
All the dog knows is violence. It's in its DNA. I bet I can teach a fricking pit how to shake hands, but it's still on a hairpin trigger and will result to its inherited traits if triggered.
Edit: Not to mention most are inbred, mixed with even more bad traits, or are backyard bred.
Great idea. Take the most bipolar breed of the dog kingdom and make it even more unstable.
Wipe the planet of it.

Feed them in their kennel. Don't put your face by their face. This is why it's important to not let kids around them unless they are older and know better.
Why the frick would anyone want to own a dog that can snap like this if you make the mistake of doing this.
fricking retards.

you can raise a t-rex from a hatchling and that mother fricker is going to eat someone eventually.

just so we're clear, you're echoing the very same pitbull owner logic up until the point when the dog rips a neighbor's kid face off.

My pit bull / Australian Shepherd actually read your post, (mf is that smart ) and says while statistically that is correct he is a very polite well behaved dog and that you are being a racist by logging them all together particularly when a lot of the bad pit bull behavior is the impact of negative ownership. Or put another way, idiot owners that encourage aggressive behavior.
