My fiancee is from there. That's where most of these complaints are coming from.

IF your uber ride is $30 you're either going far as frick or it's surge pricing, which you'd encounter anywhere that has uber.

Someone doesn't live in a big city and doesn't know what they're talking about.

again, like that a lot of places, especially florida.

sitting at a friends house cooking and drinking.
fresh water fishing
salt water fishing
deer hunting
duck hunting

What's entertaining in your city?

quit getting drunk, or have a designated driver.

hows that any different than any other city?
and it's not lawyers, it's jobs tied to the oil & gas industry (engineers, business owners, managers, sales)

I got nothing for that.

I like coming home for a few days. Getting to see family and friends is great, and for a few days the nostalgia kicks in and I enjoy going to some old spots.

But yeah, after a few days I'm ready to get out. Don't see myself moving back to LA.

Global wildlife in Folsom is pretty cool. LSU football games are fun. Saints games are fun. Hunting and fishing are fun. There's always live music in New Orleans, that's fun

What are you looking for for entertainment? Broadway shows? Amusement parks? Entertainment is a broad and relative term

Nice trolling. Assuming you are a D.C. yuppie wanabe, I'll just assume that your city is perfect, and all of the junkies and smelly beggars get off the red line prior to reaching "Duponts Circle." At least pick a nicer area in D.C for a user name, geez.

You remind me of home
The paint cracks when the water leaks
From the rusty pipes that are just beneath my feet
You remind me of home
The heaters warm, that fills the room
With a of potpouri of dust and gas fumes

You remind me of home
A broken bed, with dirty sheets
That creaks when i am shifting in my sleep
You remind me of home

In a suburban town, with nothing to do
Patiently waiting for something to happen
But the foundation is crumbling
Becoming one with the ground
While you lay there in slumber

You're wasting your life
Wasting your life
You're wasting your life
Wasting your life
You're wasting you're life
Wasting your life
You're wasting your life
Wasting your life
Wasting your life

You remind me of home, sitting on a thrift store couch
I'm trying to get this all down

The complaints about local drivers are pretty common all over. Louisiana per capita income usually ranks near the middle of U.S. states believe it or not... And the cost of living is pretty low. The climate is fricking horrible, and if I have to see that Juan Lafonta commercial again I'm going to break my parents' TV.

Fun fact: I don't ride metro anything further out than Metro center.

I made the opposite move.

The puritanical bs here does suck (God do I miss happy hours), but overall I really enjoy Boston.
