Not sure which event, but knowing what I know now, it would be fascinating to watch some of the Mexican American war and see all these generals working together that would be killing each other in a few years.
Just fricking tragic. It’s always been something that interested me, how that war trained everyone together for our own war. Battle Cry of Freedom glosses over it, a lot of others do not.

Not sure you could count it as one event or not but it would definitely be the stretch of time from the Last Supper to resurrection. The time in there I would be most interested in is Jesus' time praying in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Relatively recent history: I would like to be a fly on the wall at The JFK assasination event, caveat being - I would already know what was about to happen and could watch the faces of people in the crowd, look for odd behaviors, and scan the Grassy Knoll and other areas of interest including the book depository just before and during the moments of the assassination, and afterwards.
