I would do this on a daily basis if I was single and had not kids. However too many do this now for selfish reasons who do have families and kids.

my uncle did this. Left a note for my aunt, moved to the Philippines. Met some young woman while over there working offshore. He’s a fricking a-hole. Had multiple children.
