But how can god hear me if I don't say it loudly in front of a bunch of people?

I can assure you most church people are not this way. These people are working on the same principle as the snake handlers.

These few churches that are opening their doors and encouraging people to come to church at this time.. What is their end game? It seems like having online services could generate more money. So why are these preachers so hell bent on opening their doors?

God was born like 2,000 years ago. My Mom's only in her late 60's and she can't figure out teleconferences either.

Would you rather have people live in fear, bowing to every whim of some know-nothing bureaucrat who can make you lose your job, imprison you in your own home and restrict commerce in your state?

While I don’t know this particular minister and his specific cause, I do applaud these people for standing up to these politicians who blindly would strip away our freedoms because they are concerned for my welfare.

How many people will be put out of work by the stroke of a pen and how will people provide for their families? If these shutdowns and stay at home orders continue for any length of time, people will suffer from much more than a virus and the damage to our country and economy may be irreparable.

You can see for yourself if you’d like. You can come visit us online this Sunday at 10CST. No charge.

This is how easy it is to minister to people through technology and without having mass gatherings. Good on you, sir

Agree, but you Church people do not believe rules apply to you because you believe to weld divine justice.

It “pastors” like this guy that really give organized religion a bad name. And the people who follow him are misguided.

Ummm no. Christians and our founding fathers believe that their rights are derived from God, not man. Western Civilization is built on a Judeo/christian framework of law built around the 10 commandments and Christians are instructed to submit to these laws.

Communism teaches that people rights are derived from the government and laws are arbitrarily set to benefit the state, not the individual.

I have no idea what you are referring to by the Rip and Tear.

He answers all prayers. Your answer was simply “no” apparently.

He’s Jehovah-jireh...God the provider. He gives us what we need, not necessarily always what we want.

Sounds like if churches are going to ignore government orders established for public safety then they’re determining themselves an “essential business”. So take their tax exemption away.

That’ll nip that in the bud real quick.

Or you could have Italy. How’s that economy working out for them right now?
