Has it always been this way? Or is this a more recent phenomenon like 84 month car loans?

I rolled my F-250 into my 30 year mortgage. I don’t see the problem

So the $102.000 boat will cost you 243,813.60.

Damn son, only 1k a month? I don't care about price, only if I can budget the payment.
Damn they want a down payment. Can't you just roll that up in the loan?

In 10 years $1K will be about $50 bucks in todays money. Just think about rooster tailing across the lake at 40 knots and tell me it isn’t worth it!

What's more outrageous is 100k for a bass boat.

Can’t imagine laying down six figures for that. I guess people are paying that for Range Rovers. But at least the RR is something you use every day.
