My 40 oz RTIC tumbler has been melting quicker than my 30 oz YETI

Knockoffs work just as well. You don't get a sticker though.

I've never owned a yeti cup but I picked up a $5 Megellan cup at Academy one day. I use it for coffee in the morning and it keeps it hot as frick from the first to last sip, sometimes over the course of an hour or so

the lid doesn't even close to it's pretty impressive IMO

Do you own both? Because I haven't seen one that works just as good, I'd gladly buy it if I found it. I'm not a big yeti guy, but you can easily tell the difference.

ETA: down vote away poors

Personally, I want my coffee to start off too hot to drink and then steadily cool. Yeti for mixed drinks with ice and knockoffs for coffee.

Think about the money you’ll save in ice.

Good thing about Yeti products is you only have to put ice in them once and then their good for a lifetime.

RTIC and the knockoff brands you have to fill up each day.

No they don't. They work well for the cost vs. a Yeti, but they don't work as well if you don't care about money, like most of us here.

Yeti >> the rest

Deal with it.

I buy the ones from Walmart/Sams. Made by the same supplier.

I have multiple yeti tumblers and huggies that people gave me as gifts. I have multiple Ozark trails tumblers and huggies that I purchased. There is no discernible difference between the two.

I own a RTIC tumbler and an Ozark Trail (WM knockoff) tumbler. The RTIC works a lot better. I've had it keep coffee hot for almost half a day and ice unmelted for a couple of hours. The knockoff will only keep coffee hot for an hour or two, which is fine for me because I usually drink it within an hour anyways

Yeah, they actually do. I did my own ice test. I even switched lids on another occasion to see if that changed anything. It did not.

I am referring to the 30oz stainless Yeti vs the Ozark Trail brand sold at Walmart, FWIW.

In before 'I don't shop there'.

Have 4 20 oz Ozark cups in my camping tote but I wouldn't know because my drinks don't last very long and I don't prefer very hot coffee.

Your water may have a molecular structure that holds up better in the Yeti.

I guess I lucked up with these. Maybe the machine in China mislabeled some Yetis, or something. I'll take it.
