I think all of 'em do pretty good if you leave them shut.

Ice wasn't lasting at the tailgate (September games) until I got the Yeti.

If I buy one more, I get a 1/2 off coupon for back surgery, so there's that.

The one I got from my parents was a company gift my Dad got. I'm not complaining. DGAF about whatever logo is on it if it's gonna work THAT well.

On the 20oz, I'd say it keeps it pretty good for about 4 hours.

Like, I'll pour my second cup at 730 and its still warm at 10 or so, if I don't finish it.

Shocking how an ice chest with 6" thick walls keeps things cooler than a normal ice chest

Gotcha. I'm not saying they are bad at all(they look pretty awesome). I just couldn't justify buying one, although I did look at them at REI, and my husband quickly was the voice of reason saying "don't you already own something similar?"

I mean it's their money.. If they want to overpay for a cooler to keep their shitty beer cold, that's their prerogative. For that purpose, I'll just stick with this:

My dad was just given a nice personalized yeti from his God-daughter. Do you think she knew what she was doing to his reputation when she gave this gift?

But why do you need something to keep you iced coffee with ice in it for 17 hours?

I took a Psych 110 class 7 years ago - this sounds a lot like you're suffering from envy, perhaps because your Uncle touched you when you were a toddler.

Are you really judging people based on what kind of cooler/cups they buy?

You do realize that people who put Yeti stickers on their vehicles and wear Yeti caps are hoping to be judged, don't you?

My parents gave me one because we don't have an ice machine in my office and I drink water all day. The tumblers are awesome.

I got my first Yeti yesterday as a "dirty Santa" gift at our family Christmas party. It's one you put a canned drink in, works like a coozy. Anyway put a can in this morning and thing is still cold.

Everyone who owns a yeti was either "given" one or "won" one

No one ever just bought a yet for themselves

It's silly to pay that much money for a cooler when you can buy one of equivalent performance for much cheaper. With that said, if people want to spend their money that way, and they have it to spend, who cares.

I only have the tumbler. My brother has the ice chest for fishing and hunting. It was his idea for my parents to get me one after I complained about our ice machine breaking at work and them not fixing it yet. It was his idea for them to get it for me.

He bought his yeti ice chest.

I have a big one in the front of my boat and I can stand on it without worrying about fricking it up and it will keep my fish cold for a long time.

But as nurse said, it would be better with wheels and I'm surprised they don't have a model with them. Big one stays in the boat though and a full August day spec fishing it performs as advertised and I'm too old to worry what some douchebag that can't afford one claims.
