Jesus, this hits so close to home! I had squamous cell of tongue at age 34. Went to MD Anderson to have it cut out. Still here 16 years later.

Jesus. That's awesome for you man.

His squamous cell was found in the lungs after the tumor was removed from the tongue, six weeks of radiation, and chemo treatments. It was brutal for him to endure and brutal for his loved ones to see. I now know that his pain was only temporary. The pain that the loved ones are left with is permanent.

I only caught mine at a dental visit. Didn't think anything of it. Dentist told me to get it checked. Was on the side of my tongue. Do you know where on his tongue the tumor was located?

I'd imagine so after your huge victory over cancer a few years ago and then watching your trailer go up in flames in front of your eyes.

well haven't you already survived a day without her? You know that day she was sucking on someone else's dong? Or is this a new and different wife?

This shite is so scary for me. My wife's cousin (who is more like a sister) just got married this past summer to one of the most genuinely nice dudes you'll ever meet. Found out she was pregnant just before Christmas. 2 weeks ago they found a tumor in her cervix. They went in this past Tuesday and found that the cancer is now in her lymph nodes.

I was just trying to put myself in her husbands shoes. Not even a month ago he was having the thoughts of being a young father and having a family of 3..... Then literally over night, he's faced with a very real potential of just being 1.

I am indeed still alive.

An update for those who may have followed my thread a couple months ago about the trial (Iona, tLSU, etc.)... it has been postponed once again.
