This hair stylist where I get my hair cut was saying how she went to a wedding and people were playing corn hole. She also said this kid who was recently potty trained used it to add to the trashy/cringe factor. Are yard games at weddings really a thing?

Went to a wedding at the Four Seasons in Austin and played croquet and corn hole during the reception. Was fun.

I like to throw things into holes at weddings, but my games are different.

I'm not passing judgement. Probably people just having fun. I've never seen a game of lawn darts break out at any wedding I've attended.

I went to a nice outdoor wedding where Cornhole boards were set up. They were like the guest sign in book and all the wedding attendees signed them for the newlyweds.

I didn't find it trashy. I thought it was actually kinda cool and different.

Does she have a place to keep your purse while you're getting your hair did?

If youre gonna have kids running around, I guess, why not? Theyre gonna be doing kid things one way or another.

And I assume you meant at the reception.

But yea, depends how it's presented, it could be very trashy.

I love yard games at any function. Better than people sitting inside on their phones

I think the list of things the OT finds not trashy is shorter than the trashy list.

That said...A wedding is a party, whatever you do to make your guests have fun and a good time is okay in my book.

The kid used the cornhole as a toilet? Is that what you're trying to say?

Baptist weddings are cake and punch, and everybody leaves after 30 minutes.

I remember playing baseball and football at weddings with my cousins when I was a kid. Why not cornhole?

This is a thing. Even custom corn hole sets for weddings.

I've been to a few weddings with corn hole. It's just for fun, so I see no harm in it at all. That said, no way in hell is it trashier than the money dance.

I was wondering where ESPN came up with the SEC Network logo.

We played a game of flag football and I tackled the bride and broke her leg.
