Trust does not equal fear. I trust that I will always make money at my job. That said I have a huge emergency fund should I be wrong. I trust that I am healthy and will be so to take care of my family. That said I have a large term life policy should I be wrong. You equate fear with safeguards. You mock preparation for unforeseen events. Responsibility is beneath you. It’s the most ludicrous non self aware mindset since the end of the Roman Empire.

He's making fun of the people who live in fear of the government altogether, like the surprising amount of people who are ridiculously worried about DNA companies like 23 and Me.
I dislike the government as much as the next guy, but I'm not a kook either. He's calling out the kooks in a discombobulated way.
