Could be awesome for the WWE if Vince doesn't pry as much as he is currently

Honestly I'm actually starting to think that Fox has some kind of say in there too.....I'm interested to see where this goes....I think Bischoff and Heyman bring things to the table that are needed.

That's what I was going to add. I want to say Fox either had a meeting with WWE officials this week or had one scheduled soon because they weren't liking the product.

When Fox shells out $1 billion for just SmackDown, I'd imagine they're going to have their footprint on this

I remember 15 or so years ago, when they had the "split" and Raw and Smackdown each got a GM.

So this has been going on for years, just different names LOL

Won’t amount to much if Vince blows them off. Hopefully AEW will make WWE better and vice versa

Fox had an emergency meeting with the McMahons yesterday. Maybe this is the result.

Okay, I thought it was this week but couldn't remember the date.

This HAS to be a product of that. Hopefully it turns Vince into just a check writer for the most part

The cynic in me says hiring two guys who headed two separate failed wrestling promotions to somehow turn WWE TV around seems like a bad idea. It's also just retreading the same old ground. WWE production/creative is apparently like the NFL coaching carousel.

Creative is bad because Vince has total control. The writers write what they think Vince will like, not what they think will be good. If you remember when Heyman was in charge of creative for Smackdown, they were far better than Raw. I don't know that Bischoff adds much. Maybe Vince just signed him to keep him away from AEW.

I'm not usually high on Heyman but it's hard to argue with this. Smackdown with Edge at the top of the card was very good.

I think this is good news.

But wait for it.

AEW Fanboy: "Muh WWE sucks! Vince needs to give up creative control or else it will die!"

*WWE hires Heyman and Bischoff as Executive Directors*

AEW Fanboy: "NO! NOT LIKE THAT!"

Just more proof that AEW fanboys concern troll and actually just want WWE to die and no matter what WWE does they wont be happy

So that was on air roles....this is completely different (I think and hope). Their roles are supposed to be equivalent to HHH's role in NXT....Heyman with Raw and Bischoff with SD. At least that's what's being said now.

ETA the other thing with Bischoff he has experience working with fairly big broadcasting partners like Turner broadcasting and Spike.....I think that could be valuable going forward to have someone to bridge the expectations of Fox into the pro wrasslin business.....which is a new arena for Fox.

This could re surge the entire program...this is brilliant. Can't wait to see what Heyman pulls off.
