most of the ones that are all tricked out for off roading around here don't have a speck of dust on them and look like they never have, oh, and have to have the pink painted clevises(clevi?) if you're a chick

Finance guy at dealership where ex got his Jeep was showing off his Jeep to us. He had like 20-25k in modifications to his Jeep(roof rack, wench, lift, big wheels/tires, etc, etc).

We ask him where he off roads it at.

He says he has actually never gone off roading. Doesn’t even know how to use 4x4

I'd say that applies to around 75% of newer Jeep owners.

drove out to the lake the other day, it had been raining heavy for a few days, I saw a Jeep stuck in a shallow ditch, it appeared to me that he just couldn't resist dropping a wheel in a muddy ditch, I stopped and asked if I could help, "no thanks, I'm calling a friend," he only had the front left wheel in the ditch

My sister had those on her car for a minute. You could accurately guess the type of person she is just off that.

I need to pass it on, thanks for the reminder.

Jeep owners and vegans are very similar.

Jeep people are so gay, they have their little finger waves they give each other when passing as well

Is that the same wave they give the finance manager while trading it in for something better after a few years or what?

I got one of these on mine one time. I threw it in the trash. I bought a Jeep. Not a membership in some fruit club. Jeep culture can be weird.

Yeah, myself included. My Jeep is a stock TJ, so I'm only like, 30% gay.

The jeep you don't want to buy is the one that has a clearly used winch and big recovery hooks.

I know a few years ago that Jeep had two or three of the top 10 vehicles that LGBTQ people had. Subaru Forrester was top 3 too.

My friend just bought a jerry can for the back of his LJ.

The difference is we will need it while offroading/overlanding in Big Bend next month. It comes off otherwise.

Trust me, I'm very aware of the narcissism inherent within the jeep community. I'm surprised the carolina squat hasn't made it to those goofy frickers yet.

Man, I love those things. My wife's uncle bought an LJ Rubicon off some guy for $7k. He had no idea what he had.

Yeah the extra wheelbase (not too long though) and room inside is great.

My friend had to wait a while until he found one in Dallas.
