I mean, we also staffed NASA with Nazis.
And they served a strategic purpose. Pardoning a guy who helped move four hundred tons of cartel coke into the country does not.

quote:Stop listening to maga influencers and try reading the actual case.
The guy was framed. Do your research lefty.
Multiple traffickers testified, and their accounts matched shipment records, intercepted communications, bank transfers, and police and military documentation. The conspiracy stretched over more than fifteen years and involved hundreds of tons of cocaine moving with state protection. You do not fake a decade of military flight logs, police escort records, and cartel payments. You do not frame someone by recreating an entire parallel shadow government that mirrors their own. That kind of alignment does not come from a setup.
A U.S. jury reviewed all of the evidence and convicted him unanimously. A judge reviewed every claim of misconduct and rejected all of them. The paperwork from Honduras itself supported the prosecution’s timeline, and anti-corruption investigators there had already identified this networs long before the United States brought charges. The idea that this was a political hit job is fiction.
Which is why watching people rebrand a rich billionaire who trafficked a mountain of cocaine* as a misunderstood victim is so surreal.
He was not “overcharged.” He was not a small businessman who stumbled into a cartel. He was at the center of a conspiracy measured in freighter loads. Meanwhile, some broke dick Venezuelan with a boat and a hundred keys never gets a lawyer or a trial or a pardon from Trump. He gets a missile. Case closed. Justice served. Next.
It's almost impressive how easily maga feels sympathy for the billionaire drug lord while shrugging at the man who gets erased from the planet for doing a fraction of the same thing.
The “framed” claim survives because people like you need a story to justify Trump’s pardon. It is not a theory rooted in facts. It is an emotional shield for anyone who cannot accept that the man Trump freed was convicted of helping move one of the largest cocaine flows on record while he drones the guys working for men just like him.
*A 400 ton cocaine load is a thirty foot hill of powder with a base the size of a basketball court. That is the scale of what the guy you are calling “overcharged” brought in. Meanwhile the guy running 100 keys (a suitcase-sized block you could fit in the back of a Honda Civic) in a beat up boat gets eight missiles up his arse without a second thought. If this is what passes for consistency in your world, you need to show your math.

quote:You might want to take your own advice on researching the facts. The case against Hernández began years before Biden took office. Honduran investigators, DEA agents, and U.S. prosecutors built it during the Trump administration. The grand jury indictment was approved under Trump. The extradition request was issued under Trump. The DOJ press releases outlining the evidence were published under Trump. The trial itself simply happened to conclude after the administration changed, because courts do not pause for elections.

So no, Biden did not “put him in jail.” The evidence did. A jury did. A federal judge did. And Trump is the one who let him out.
If that timeline hurts, blame the facts, and your Trump Dick Sucking(TDS) not me.

Yeah, prosecuted under Trump 1.0. The revisionist history is wild.

quote:Everything about this is wild. These guys are running around trying to paint anyone who opposes unilateral death sentences issued by one man or another 'regime change' as “not caring about fentanyl deaths.” At the same time, they wave around those same dead Americans to justify a campaign that has nothing to do with the actual fricking source of the fentanyl. They are exploiting the bodies while actively distracting from the real supply chain and projecting their own ghoulish intentions onto everyone else.
The revisionist history is wild.
