seems like a great opportunity for the surrounding parishes to steal events and tax dollars from New Orleans

Yeah, why wouldn't the suburbs try to get some of these events?

I hope all of the uptown and Mid-City old money and the business associations are happy with themselves. This is what they wanted. They are getting what they deserve.

Indeed.

Just not the Super Dome seats. I fully expect this dumbass mayor to keep the city shut down as long as possible. Saints will have to work out a deal with the NFL to play their games in another stadium.

Watching liberal business owners that were huge supporters of the mayor and governor close permanently due to the draconian actions of those they praised somehow seems just.

Ego & power run amuck! Can she really be this dumb or is she surrounded by dummies guiding down this road? She is killing any chance of a rapid recovery. Some of her proposed rules of recovery cannot be constitutional, like a registration table at the local watering hole. The lady is over her head with the job and task at hand.

There is no way I see Cantrell having fans in the dome for Saints games. I could legit see her cancelling Mardi Gras next year, it is early next year.

You think Benson is going to let Destroya screw her out of millions? LOL

We're dealing with a special kind of stupid with all of this. Plus, Governor has already said no usual LSU football until their is a vax.

Just dont be shocked if NO Saints dont end up playing in Houston/Dallas/Atlanta this upcoming season. All I am saying. Nothing would surprise me. We just shut down the entire country for a 0.23% mortality rate.

This is probably the only thing that would garner enough signatures on a recall petition to trigger an election

In all innocence, has any incumbent/office holder in Louisiana ever been recalled successfully?

Jefferson Parish could bare get signatures to recall Mike Maunoir (Yenni) for soliciting gay sex from an underage boy. Politicians really are their own special, protected class.
