looks like its Braun vs Goldberg

if this is how Braun's 2 years overdue top title run begins...

ETA: but a Braun/Fiend Universal Title feud would be quite interesting

I mean there isn’t a lot Vince can do. The XFL was actually off to a decent start before the virus. And outside of canceling it entirely, Wrestlemania without fans is probably the best they can do

Braun / Fiend would be good. A lot of story there with Braun being part of the Wyatt Family once upon a time

Edge, Miz, Morrison, Kevin Owens, Lashley and Usos are all out. Goldberg also tried to pull out but they talked him into working his match. Also The Miz showed up sick last week and worked Smackdown.

I believe Lashley was at WM but he did miss the Smackdown tapings.

so... it's now being reported that Miz showed up to the 'Mania tapings sick (unknown if corona)

that's why Roman went home and missed his match... as well as a number of others

if true... that's very irresponsible of The Miz (esp. if he got anywhere near Roman) and has apparently generated some backstage heat on Miz, esp. from Roman's familia... the Usos

Add Andrade. Murphy, Cesaro, and Asuka to the list of names missing WM. Andrade is not CV related either.

Incorrect

Asuka and Cesaro both worked.

As did Edge/Orton, contrary to my earlier report.

Andrade apparently picked up a rib injury while he was murdering Cedric Alexander during this past Monday night's Raw show

in that match... Andrade was replaced by NXT newcomer Austin Theory

Goldberg is 1 of my absolute favorites from my childhood

but he's 54 years old now and can't go more than 3 minutes in the ring and can't do the jackhammer except to members of the cruiserweight division (and Dolph Ziggler... 1 of the best sellers in WWE currently)

I can't suspend belief enough to buy Goldberg as a top of the card guy anymore... too much of a kayfabe breaker

him coming in and destroying a midcard heel for 5 minutes to a massive pop would be a great use of him to fit his current abilities

Been trying to avoid spoilers and then frickin Wrestlelamia uses a picture in there YouTube notification which spoiled the main event. It was one that wasn't surprising but still... Not sure if the leak is someone pissed at Vince for going ahead with WM but here needs to figure it out (should be easy with a closed set) and fire their arse.

(This is also showing the wisdom of RT's decision and the suckage of G in general.)

I wonder if they will still attempt to charge the same amount for PPV? Sounds like the product won't be worth it.

It's a freaking shitshow. WWE provided no guidance so some are charging full price EACH NIGHT while others are charging 9.99 for night one and 59.99 for night two. DirecTV is charging 34.95 for each night which seems to be in line with what a one night WM would cost.
