The 2nd husband is a good man. Not sure how I fully feel about the wife, but no on expects to have this happen so young. What a difficult situation for everyone.

Does anyone one remember the British couple who were attacked while sleeping rough on Esplanade Ave. in the Quarter? The woman was left with brain damage. Her fiancé, whose idea it had been to sleep there, abandoned her when they got back to Blighty. He married another, with whom he had a family, forsaking the woman who suffered the worst consequences of his bad judgment. At least this poor bastard is surrounded by those who love him.
