Would you reach out before the accusation? What if they had nothing to do with it, but you accused them and they found out?
I understand that the Unabomber was the guy, but how about the millions turned in their loved ones and they had nothing to do with it just for the reward money?

I'd certainly need to feel confident they were guilty. I don't think I'm reaching out to them over something as serious as mass murder or pedophilia.

In a later interview, David Kaczynski admitted that it was his wife who ultimately convinced him to turn his brother in. He said that after reading the manuscript, he decided it was 50/50 that Ted was the Unabomber. I think it would have to come from an outside source to convince me, as well.

The interesting thing is Ted Kaczynski "only" killed 3 people, which does not fit the FBI's definition of mass murder even if it had happened in one place and time. Not taking away from the heinous crime but it shows how time can distort our memory. Certainly, it is arguable he attempted murder at least a dozen other times.
As to the OP, rape of any age yes including all the variants of that crime on children. Murder would actually be situational, depends on who and why. Dude raped someone's daughter, kill away homie. It mainly depends on whether I thought it was reasonable vengeance which I would assume would not be a repeat killer. Most other stuff I would leave to the state to figure out unless they were the El Chapo of Louisiana or something equally extreme.

Luckily only 3. Some of his bombs failed like the one in the plane that would have destroyed it. Also pretty sure he took out a few people's vision and fingers.
Some people here would have killed themselves if they lost fingers so they couldn't do the slippidy slap on their wickidy wack.
