What if the concert was 1 month from his 16th birthday

It depends on the group. If it is a bunch of kids I have known for years and watched them grow up together, I absolutely would let them go.

1. We'd make sure his cell phone is completely charged
2. I have all of his friend's and their parent's numbers
3. We have a 100% game plan for where to meet and what to do when the concert lets out
4. Make sure he knows what to do in certain situations such as fights and offerings of drugs

So you would rather your kids just stay in and experience everything from their ipads?

I went to a Metallica concert when I was 15 or 16, Black album.

Buddy's Parents gave us a ride since it was out of town, but they didn't go in with us.

I've never heard of this Drake but from the sounds of it, I'd not take my kids to one of his shows.

In a sprite commercial he says his last name is ever and his first name is greatest

Right... because all the best musicians are at the top of the charts.

Past history usually shows that they are.

Drake is pretty tame compared to other rap that's out there.

If I had to guess his concert would be more special effects than anything; I don't think you see other musicians than the rapper for a hip hop concert?

You're right. Being amongst the ranks of Justin Beiber & Myley Cyrus shows what true talent really is.

At 15 years old I would like to think my teen can distinguish between real life and 'artist' performing a musical act..

I'm no fan of drake or anyhing but I'll be honest, I caught one of his sets at Voodoo fest one year and as far as rap:hip hop is concerned he wasn't all that bad... usually rap shows is a bunch of idiots hopping around the stage screaming over one another and singing half the lyrics while the other half is played over the speakers.

I think that same year Ozzy came to the stage next and might have been the most embarrassing set I've ever seen someone try to sing at a festival. I felt sorry for the old fella.

Take your son to see Drake and he ends up picking women like this:

Do the right thing and avoid intellectually bankrupt, morally vacuous twits like Drake, and your son finds someone like this:
