Would you shoot Katrina looters with Chris Kyle?

During Katrina, Chris Kyle claimed he sniped looters.
If given the chance, would you take up arms and join Chris?
I personally wouldn't. Seems kind of strange and slightly sadistic

Isn't it almost universally acknowledged that Kyle lied about that? Such a shame a man with an already accomplished record in the Teams would have to resort to lies and embellishments for the sake of selling a few books.

I talked to a few helicopter pilots that volunteered their services along with the company choppers during the rescue. While I doubt Kyle was shooting Dindus off the roof of the dome, some of those stories I heard from them were pretty intense.
ETA: Yes, I could shoot as many looters as I have rounds and sleep like a baby at night.
