The poster who wanted to congratulate wheelchair bound guy at gym rekindles this debate.
A) Blind
B) Parapalegic. (Can move everything above waist btw)
The conversations are always interesting and it’s usually about 50/50. Yes I throw a mean dinner party and these are topics I throw out

Apparently this has been studied and paraplegics return to their baseline level of happiness in about 90 days. Hell, even Sufferers of ALS find meaning in their lives. Hard to judge unless you are in that situation.

I don’t understand the fricking question.

B by far over A. Blindness was suck majorly.

I think the question should be would you rather frick a blind person or a paraplegic?

Can they both make pancakes?

The blind person can't find the batter while the paraplegic can't reach the counter. So no, they can't make pancakes

Well then I certainly hope neither of these happen to you. Being stupid is handicap enough

I’d rather have two wheels than bump into everything.

You threw an extra syllable in there. Like a Baptist preacher.
Knew a kid who wrecked his motorcycle and was paralyzed above the waist. He could walk fine, but that was about alll he could do.

Don't know. I work by a school for the blind and there is a crew of instructors who are all at least severely visually impaired (using canes) to help self-sufficiency for students. They occasionally all go drink beer together about 5 deep about this place by the office. They get fricked up. I always think - man they go hard in the paint on drinking and getting home. I just got to drive home.

For sure. Couldn't imagine not being able to see my son grow up.
