There is no replacement for displacement.

Buick added an intercooler to the turbo 3.8 V-6 that solved the cooked oil problem, lag time issue, and added more hp

The intercooler cools the intake charge into the engine allowing denser, more oxygen rich, air to be forced in.

Has nothing to do with coking nor lag time.

Would you rather have a smaller engine in a car/truck w/ turbo(s) or have a bigger engine?
Basically a 4 cylinder turbo vs v6
6 cylinder turbo/twin turbo vs a v8

I'd rather have a diesel, regardless of the number of cylinders...but you are really limited in what they make them available in.

I'm aware that it's the Voodoo that is a flat plane V8 and the Coyote is a cross plane crank.

I was saying that given the choice between 6 cylinders with snails or naturally aspirated flat plane V8, give me the flat plane V8.

Worked at a Dodge dealer in the late 90s. Vipers are fast as shite but sound horrible.

Now one of the old F1 V10s or a Huracan? Sonic sex.

That's V10 vs Flat Plane Crank engines. Apples to Oranges
