Would you rather be crucified or hung, drawn, and quartered?

Hanged I guess. Seems the quickest

Yeah, they don't hang you until dead and proceed with the rest. They just hang you for a little while then stretch you out then rip you into pieces. A crucifixion is preferable

Death by hanging is pretty humane, not sure why we can't continue to use it as a death penalty instead of all this drug nonsense.

1. Dragged, usually by a horse, on a wooden frame to the place where he was to be publicly put to death. This is one possible meaning of drawn.[1] A more likely meaning of drawn is the removal of the inner organs.[2]

2. Hanged by the neck for a short time or until almost dead (hanged).

3. Removed from hanging and placed on a table. Still alive, the victim was cut open in the abdomen and his intestines and sex organs removed (this is another meaning of drawn—see the reference to the Oxford English Dictionary below). The removed organs were burned in a flame, prepared close to the prisoner.[3]

But, you wouldn’t be well hung for long. They remove the captain and crew while you’re alive.

I’ve heard this, but I think the length is highly determined by the type of crucifixion and the condition of the person beforehand.

I watched a documentary where an actual doctor did experiments in crucifixion and his conclusion was the body would go into shock relatively quickly, esp if nails were used on the hands/feet. And if the person flogged beforehand then it’d be even quicker bc the flogging alone can easily be fatal due to shock and blood loss.
