For those of us from the Deep South, anything below 50 becomes winter.

I like cold weather. I'd be fine in New Hampshire. My wife would become a hermit crab though.

The average high temp/low temp in November is 47/27 degrees and April its 56/32. I think most of us would consider that pretty cold.

The cold really isn’t nearly as bad as everyone here makes it out to be.
It’s honestly not that big of a deal. Just throw on a coat.

Double my salary, I would consider living there awhile. Not sure what cost of living is. I know it’s liberal, so I wouldn’t like that. I love the mountains though.

Exactly what I said. November through April is fricking cold. 4 of those 6 months your holed up and snowed in your basement trying to stay warm. frick that.

I traveled the country for a decade and deal with the cold just fine. I don't care for -10 or anything like that but it's not like it would be that cold for more than a few days at a time and not every year.
I've been to Alaska several times in the winter but the coldest weather I've ever been in was in Nebraska.

No that’s extreme for up here. Not to say it never happens, but it’s rare.
