A bit more information about prsoethic legs:

quote:

For example, according to a white paper[2] from the Bioengineering Institute Center for Neuroprosthetics, at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a basic below-the-knee prosthetic that would allow a patient to walk on flat ground costs $5,000-$7,000, while one that would allow the patient to walk on stairs and bumpy ground could cost $10,000. For a device that would allow a patient to walk and run as well as a non-amputee, the cost could go up to $15,000. Prosthetics with special hydraulic or mechanical systems that allow for movement control can cost more than $15,000. And a computer-assisted prosthetic leg costs $20,000 or more. According to Brown University, the C-Leg computerized prosthetic leg[3] by Otto-Bock, for above-the-knee amputees, can cost as much as $50,000, or up to $70,000 or more, including the prosthetic foot.

It's 2016. Have you seen what scientists are doing these days? People are RUNNING IN THE OLYMPICS with TWO PROSTHETIC LEGS. Not one foot, fricking legs.

And you're worried about A FOOT, while also getting $10M cash.

Man some of yall are insane.

You don't deserve the $10M.

Whether the foot is $10,000 or $1M dollars...who cares? YOu're still set for life regardless.

Fellas no need for all that fake shite. Just sew that foot back on. I keep my foot, the money, and beat JBeams dumb game in the process.

It does if you live within your means and don't have to keep up with what's hip. If I won $5M today I could comfortably retire tomorrow.

for the average person it absolutely does

the average person does not move up or down in the social class that they were born into

getting $10 mil all of a sudden moves you up several social classes which in turn, would more than likely keep your future generations in that social class

If I were to go from 2 real feet to 1 real foot and 1 prosthetic foot, there are VERY few things I cna think of that I wouldn't be able to do that I can now. Like, extremely few.

Now think about all the things I could do with $10M that I currently cannot do because of money.

Pretty easy decision.

I don't even care about my social class or crap like that. I know myself well enough to know that I would basically live the same lifestyle that I do now on my modest salary. $10M would let me retire EASILY today and not worry about shite.
