No. I started it. I curved my bills when I was a kid and I'm 31.
What about the guy that is 36? You just copied him

Well goddamit. I hate it when that happens.

When I played ball we curved our bills
I wonder when the reverse curve trend will begin
A bill so flat it curves into a U shape like a big smiley face

Telling a kid not to wear a flat bill is the best way to ensure he will wear a flat bill.
Exactly. Flat bill caps and the high socks with the logo on them are what's in style for kids. What's it hurting to let the kids have their own style?

I hate the flat bill as much as anyone. However my 12 year wears his LSU hat proudly in the sea of hogville with the bill flat. I tell him jokingly how awful it is and he just laughs at me and tells me I'm old. It's no big deal.

I think a curved bill makes you look like back woods redneck.

what happened was...
You got old and a new fad came in and like old people hated the fads you embraced, you have now become that person.
It happens. Like the first time I heard Dub Step.

This. I actually got my BIL some new high logo socks and a flat bill hat for his last birthday because that's what he likes. I'm not gonna try to change him, but I'll still make fun of him. Isn't that what big brothers are for?"

I guess I just lucked out and was born at the exact right time to never wear anything like that.
My biggest fashion no no's were oversized shirts and super baggy cargo shorts. I was into BMX and MX back in the day though.

My son is 7 yrs old and wears nike socks high, gym shorts, t shirt and a flat bill cap. And nothing matches the other. And I don't give a shite because there are more important things to be concerned with. I remember letting my boxer bottoms hang just below my shorts as this was the style when I was 11-12. It didn't influence who I would become as a man.

My son is two, so I get to curve his bills. Hopefully the fad will die by the time he gets older. If not, I'll wear one all the time when I'm around him, so he'll think it's not cool and stop wearing it.

I exhibited all kinds of bad fashion because I was fat and my parents refused to spend any money on clothes for me or teach me how to dress. T-shirts tucked into jeans, huge baggy cargo shorts and cargo jorts, cargo khakis, lots of socks with shorts and all white or all black tennis shoes. I've gotten a lot better since then.

There will be a new fad for you to hate at that point.

Bingo. For those of you that have to control every facet of your children's lives, at least learn how to control them effectively.

JNCOs were a big fad when I was in school but I never participated. I think I was the only one who didn't

Would you let your son wear a flat bill hat?
Let? Sure.
Make fun of? Sure.
My son is not my clone in smaller form. Assuming I want him to be able to make his own decisions and have his own life, I'm going with the policy that the kid can make his own decisions about what kind of fricking hat he'd like to wear without me banning them.

I think they look ridiculous, but whatever. As long as he didn't tuck his ears in the hat. That's where I draw the line.
