re: Would you have even known that COVID existed if the media hadn’t talked about it 24/7/365?

Probably would have thought it was a really bad flu season.

Dog, you just did this a few days ago and nobody gave a shite about a thought experiment discussion over Covid on the psycho board.

This is the OT.

This is not the best hypothetical to use if this is yet another thread decrying the fiasco this became. How the media reported it is much more the issue. Just reporting it objectively and responsibly would have been fine.

Wait, you think I give a shite about anyone else giving a shite about what I post?

You are clearly bothered by the light being shown on your own stupidity and hypocrisy.

And now in this thread, your quest for 500,000 posts has you talking about how covid broke people mentally, and you think your unfathomably stupid thread proving you were mentally broken by covid isn’t relevant?

I like this website, but there's no denying it's filled with a bunch of fricking drool cups. The OP is one of them.

It was indistinguishable from the flu in both symptoms and severity, so obviously not

For me, duration was different.

Picked it up at the 2019 NC Game in NO. Have had the flu multiple times and never for longer that 5-6 days, but this knocked me down for 2 weeks. Tested positive for flu and took Xofluza within 24 hours of symptoms and it didn't do shite.

Upside is I didn't get it again for almost 2 years (December 2021) despite taking almost no precautions (frick a mask).

But, in answer to the OP's question, no because all you have to do is look at how flu was almost non-existent that year.
