But at least try it out. Unless she's nasty fat, a little thickness never hurt anyone. Variety is the spice of life. You may not like a thicker girl, but in 10 years when you've been married to a skinny ine, you're going to look at that cute but chubby secretary in the office and say "wonder what that would be like". Do it now so that you know.

I've dated a couple girls who started out "thick" then ended up fat. Thick I don't mind, give me some curves and tits...but when your belly starts drooping over your jeans and your arse looks like a bag of used blockbuster tapes, it's time to get your shite together.
ETA: Also, I've hooked up with girls all over the spectrum from fat to skinny, and I'll take a girl that's too fat over a girl that's too skinny any day. Overyly-skinny girls are gross: no arse, no tits, ribs and pelvis poking into you, and the skin feels weird and loose, like clothing that's a size too large or something.

Personality is a key thing for me but I have dated a chick for her personality even though I was not very physically attracted to her. In my experience personality is not enough. If the attraction is not there then you will not handle your bedroom business with the enthusiasm that a healthy relationship requires. Subsequently she will figure out that she is not desired by you and her "personality" will change as a result of not feeling that desire.

No, only because I like to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle. I'm not sure what I would have in common with a fat chick. It's not a superficial thing, but on a nice Sat morning if I wanted to go for a bike ride or a walk/run and maybe stop for a smoothie somewhere it'd be fun to have someone to do those things with rather than doing them alone knowing my partner is still in her PJs eating a tub of bacon flavored ice cream in bed.

This. I like hitting up the gym 5-6 times a week. Luckily my wife likes to work out as much as I do.

I've been married for 23 years. When I met my wife she was built amazingly. After years of fertility treatments she weighed 220 pounds. She was still an awesome person but she was just bigger and we were still completely compatible.
A year after all the fertility stuff was over she lost all of the weight through a great deal of work. She's built awesome again.
What happens if you marry your dream woman and she gets in a wreck and gets scars on her face? You leaving over that?
