The TLX was just not put together well enough when I sat in them last year. Same as the Infinity, the finishes were not quality enough for the price point.
And when the “Sport” models don’t have a different drive train than the spec model, it’s kind of a bummer.

As the past owner of an Integra GSR, I can say that I'm not really feeling the new one.

By “sport” do you mean A-Spec or Type S?
A-Spec is only an appearance package, Type S is their sport model and it does indeed have a different power train (turbo 6 compared to the turbo 4).

I really dislike this bolt-on tablet trend.
I used to hate it, but my wife has one that's bolted on top of the dash and I love the almost eye level nature of it. Now that I've gotten used to driving her car so much, I don't like my built in display.
I agree it doesn't look as good, but it's very functional and I could see it being a bit safer.

My '93 Integra RS was amazing to drive. Tight and short gears, could shift with flick of the wrist. Could drive from BR to SELU for a week on one tank of gas.
...Even though it was just a Civic on Adderall.

I absolute hate the aesthetics of it, right up until the time I have glaring sun in my face and remember trying to view a map app on a less functional but better integrated screen half the size. I soon forget how difficult that was and immediately go back to hating the fact the newer screens are too bolt-on looking.
Seriously, love the functionality, hate the look.

Exactly.
They are very pragmatic, just ugly. I guess it boils down to which of those things is more important to you.

I was interested in the Integra but now that Toyota has revealed the GR Corolla, I think that’s going to be my next car. I just don’t see the Integra as being that much better than a Civic Si. And in my opinion, neither of them are great looking cars.

Love it, but it's too small.
I would get the TLX Type S though.

Of course I would drive it. I’m not going to pay that kind of money for it though.

Another new model vehicle that has that ugly arse screen not flowing with the dash.![]()
Agreed. Don’t know why so many cars are made with the screen sticking up in the dash. Wife (no pics) has a Volvo which has the screen inlaid in the panel. Looks and functions well.

Yeah, I think them and Dodge trucks both did a great job integrating the larger screens into the dash.

Never understood this criticism.

It may be a decent car for the price.

Love the manual transmission
Pricing puts it up against the Dodge Charger, $30k is starting MSRP for SXT models and $40k is in R/T territory.

Should start at around $30,000 for the entry level models; but the 6 speed A spec versions will probably be closer to $40,000.

Would You Drive This?

I had an 08 Integra years back, and it was a loud, rough ride. There were great things about the car, but they need to address those two issues. Overall I did like it, and this is a nice addition to the car market. Entry at $30K is great as well; this inflation of car prices has to stop. This and more like it may hopefully bring it back down some.
