In the Bible it says, "But whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."

I would do my best to take away the gun and live another day but I'm not denying my faith in God to do so.

Just saying you don't believe in God doesn't mean that you've truly denounced him.

So, in this scenario I'd say whatever it took to keep me alive. The good Lord knows what's really in my heart - that is what counts.
