True story:
my buddy in law school who was a complete gun nut, (even he had a Arsenal under his bed, AR-15s, WW2 shite, half a dozen pistols 10,000 rounds at least ) super conservative guy from Lake Charles. He started dating this cute girl from California who was ultra liberal. (She mellowed out and is really cool though they are still married with kids in college etc )
Anyway, we are at dinner with my GF, and another couple from North Louisiana whose dad is a top notch gun lawyer, and the topic gets to gun control, which he doesn’t say shite and leaves me and Addison out in cold to get ripped by his hippie girlfriend. This argument goes on for about 10 good minutes, when she says something like “At least I am glad Fred is not a gun nut like you guys are.” at which I couldn’t take it anymore and yell out, “Really have you ever bothered to look under his bed, he has a freaking Arsenal, it’s a wonder you don’t have lead poisoning sleeping on all those bullets”
You could hear a pin drop in the whole damn restaurant.
Anyway, it worked out eventually, we are still friends, 2/3s of people at the table still married. She is really cool now, he still has a smaller but much nicer gun collection, so who gives a frick anyway. This political affiliation you guys are creating is incredibly stupid.

Seems like some in here have better listening skills than others. All you gotta do is look at them when they’re talking- stay off your phone, ask some follow up questions every now and then and make them believe they’re “educating” you. I’ve listened hours upon hours of hot chicks spewing liberal nonsense until they tire themselves out and then they’ll be the one leading you to the bedroom. That’s what works for me.

And y’all wonder why the divorce rate is so high and so many children grow up in a broken home. You can’t seriously date someone who has opposite political views than you, it will never work. You can fool around, be intimate, but serious dating with marriage as a goal will never work out in the end.

1. Realizes that regardless of her own beliefs there will be other women with medical conditions for whom pregnancy can threaten their own lives. (My family lost two mothers in childbirth.) Or simply that there will be a demand by other women for safe abortion for various reasons, regardless of her own convictions. That is just recognizing reality.
2. Realizes that the minimum wage has not been raised in forever and working 40 hours for $320 less taxes equals the minimal unemployment compensation, leaving no incentive to work.
3. Knows people who were freezing for days in Texas, like I do, because their power system sucks.

She sounds like a surface-politics moron, but i have banged many liberal women in my time.
Its annoying because you can defeat their beliefs with logic and they will acquiesce, but not change anything. They are literally like spoiled children.

Dated a few liberal-ish women in my early-mid twenties back when politics weren’t part of everyday life. Had to break it off with the last liberal girl because of her views on abortion. She said that abortion would be an option for her if an “oopsie” would happen. That straight up turned me off. It would haunt me knowing that my child was aborted especially without my consent or knowledge. Luckily my current SO is way more traditional and family oriented.
