5.0, yes. $8K
Ecoboost, you couldn't pay me to take it with over 50K miles on it.

I have a 2010 with 150k on it and it’s an absolute piece of shite. NEVER buy a Ford for a work truck.

The engine runs strong and again we never had it in the shop except oil changes, brakes and tires..

I would not.

But also I will hijack your thread for a sec.

I currently drive a 2011 F150 Lariat 4x4 5.0 V8 loaded. 160,000 miles. Will be 180-200k within 1 year.

Would you trade this truck for a 2006 Lexus LX470 with 100,000 miles or less on it?

ETA: I can probably get 15k out of the truck (it's paid off). The LX470 will cost between $15-20k

I know the LX470 is one of the best vehicles ever made. The F150 has served me very well. I want an SUV, but am scared of giving up 5 years of technology going back to 2006.

What are you planning to use the truck for? I personally, would not buy a vehicle that has 190k miles on it as a primary vehicle. If you are planning using it as a secondary vehicle to get around locally or for your kid than I would maybe consider it ,but 190k miles is a lot even though it is highway miles. What is the asking price?

I would, likely all highway miles. 190k these days isnt really all that much. Especially if it’s been serviced properly. I see them daily running like a top with way more mileage.

If ecoboost I would be wary. If the 5.0, then if it's had maintenance, it should be OK.

I wouldn't pay over $3K with that amount of miles.

It's funny when you see these car salesman on facebook posting a truck with "low miles" and then they state "190k miles"...sorry but that isn't low miles by any means.

My idiot/sucker BIL bought a used Tundra with over a 100k miles on it for like $35k. I know it's a Toyota, but he will be paying a $550-650 note for the next 5-6 years on a truck that will soon have 150k miles already on it, when he could have bought a new one for almost the same price.

You need to come sell that bitch in Texas.

Dude made me an offer out of the blue at the Love's in Katy on my '07 STX (4.6) for $3.5k

...with 326k mi on it.

You'd get more than 15k...Hombres is desperate for trucks out here.

ETA: 4.6, my bad. Them Tritons are workhorses.

It’s not low miles by any means, but it’s not worn out neither, if you maintain it properly, they can run for 300-400k without major work.

And the way the market is today, the prices are ridiculous.
