My dad is a retired cop. Just linked this thread to 4 investigators.

I was just trying to feel better about my decision. He never outright admitted it but his denial was enough for me to contact the authorities

I have already alerted the police to this
It just hurt because I really wanted to believe that people can change

OP said he was "pretty sure", not that he had proof or knew for a fact. If it doesn't involve your or yours ignore that junky bastard. Lord help him if he rats him out and the junky finds out.

They can't. And you better call a lawyer. You will be questioned and you will need legal assistance.
Your prior knowledge may have prevented dozens of felonious acts. You'll have to account for that.

And I have no solid proof. All I told them is they might want to fingerprint the cars. Seems like his m.o.

He is already back to his junky ways and I'm pretty sure he is responsible for no less than 50 car break ins in the last month.
I thought supersaint was in jail?

If his 51st car break in is mine, I'm coming after him and you.

At the very least you're looking at obstruction.
You screwed up here, bad.

BTW, can you describe more in detail how you are "pretty sure he is responsible "?

How? I called the cops when I thought it was him. The dots were just connected from neighborhood website.

What kind of man talks to the police?
Posted on 8/17/15 at 9:23 pm to wal marks
If all someone is only harming themselves, or the people that put themselves in place to be harmed (loved ones) then I don't see the need to rat.
When they involve innocents and it is significant enough to cost the innocents time/money then yes it is rattable

I confronted him when he randomly popped up at my house. No denying just kept his face down in his hands and screamed "you will never know the struggle"
