If someone put together a comedy festival in Baton Rouge, would people be interested?

I am talking about something where there are two or three nights in which you have a big name headliner each night who are opened up by 2nd tier comedians with a part of it for amateur comedians.

If not Baton Rouge, where in Louisiana would this get the most support?

The Legislature won’t take the competition sitting down.

It would be over run with culture and white trash, so be prepared for that and your target market not going.

Baton Rouge never supported any of the many failed attempts at comedy clubs. New Orleans would support a comedy festival if it was mostly black comedians.

Baton Rouge is already a laughing stock of a city.

Funny bone was fun to go to in the 80s. I can't think of a comedian I'd go see right now, they're either being too political or just dumb dirty humor that's not funny.

Nowhere, because stand up comedy isn't family-friendly except on cruise ships.

Festivals are family events. Your idea has only worked at Bonnaroo where they have a comedy tent.

Step up the intrinsic thoughts Oweo, i need your bullshite now more than ever.

Baton Rouge, at least the south part, won't support anything unless you attach the term "LSU" to it.

Baton Rouge is too sensitive. It wouldn’t work

But the northern part would?

How about an Outrage Festival? That’s more hip with the times.

We already do.

It comes around every 4 years.
