Worst stretch of I-10 in the country!

from BR Traffic.
I feel like cars seem to "break down" on the interstate way too much here.
On vacation couple of weeks ago, I drove on interstate through cities bigger than Baton Rouge and even with construction traffic moved well and I only saw one wreck.
This is an every day occurrence here. Why can't anyone here drive? And all wrecks, strategically block as much highway as possible.

No sir! By far the worst stretch is at the Wallace tunnel in Mobile. Not even close.

I take it you’ve never driven I-10 from Santa Monica to Downtown Los Angeles before.

I feel like there is something about the bridge that causes people to forget how to drive. Like the second they are on it they've never been in a vehicle.

Pretty bad. Pretty pretty bad

La has the most dickhead drivers I’ve ever driven around.
Have lived in Tx, Ga, D.C./Baltimore area, and Jersey/NYC.
There is no population anywhere that’s more concerned about proving to you that their mustang/pickup truck is so much faster than yours.

I've had drivers multiple times versus cutting speed a few mph and merge over and exit, they floor it and cut in front of me to exit just before the concrete barrier would hit them.

push off any car blocking travel as soon as they arrive on scene.
It's going to be a little difficult to push a 55000 pound tractor trailer off the interstate.

even more confusing, this fricking 18 wheeler is blocking maybe 1 foot of interstate lane.
dude managed to pull over all the way to the shoulder, except for 1 portion of the back blocking 1 foot of lane next to the shoulder, and it causes miles long backup that's lasted 2 fricking hours
oh and theres another stalled 18 wheeler on the opposite side of I-10 across from this one. he made it to the shoulder though

we live here and think we are the only place in the country that I10 has terrible traffic...so naive

It really makes me angry how such a shitty, mid sized city can consistently have such horrible traffic. I dread driving through or into BR because without fail, something is fricked to no matter what time or day of week. The worst is heading East into BR using the ‘new’ bridge. By 3:00 it’s pretty much fricked every weekday even without an accident until 6:30-7:00. It just doesn’t add up. Maybe if it was a legit, big time city, I could understand it, but it’s Badun fricking Rudge.

A few year ago I was driving back from Utah on a vacation. I never had any stalls the entire trip until I got about 10 miles from the Mississippi River bridge in BR. Then it was the same old snap!

No breakdowns on the loop, clear sailing

One reason they don’t push cars off to the side ASAP could be that there’s some old law preventing it and they have to follow precedure. Plus, everyone’s trying to get ahold of Gordon to get a settlement so if they move the accident, it could mean they don’t get 1 million dollars in settlement.
