A cousin named her son August. WTF?

We call him Augie and she loses her mind. Her husband gets pissed because he’s got to hear it when they leave. Just to screw with her people call him December, February, etc.

Our granola neighbors across the street have a 5 year old boy named August. I always call that kid September just to piss off the overbearing mom.

You're making this up. That's hilarious if true. Does he go by that?

They call him Harry for short.

We’ve got a Mathilde (pronounced “Mah-TEEL”)
I hear that in a very Cajun accent. I had two great aunts named Marie. One was the expected pronunciation and the other was Mah-REE.

One of my Sisters kids is named Aidan

Wife’s niece named her daughter Ayden, now whether you spell it Aiden, Aidan, or Ayden it’s a traditional boys name. So after far too many bourbons one Christmas I’m like why in the frick would you give your daughter a boy’s name, it’s like calling her Kevin. She legitimately had no clue and wife was like time to go, but I’m the bad uncle.

My wife has a great uncle named Jime(supposed to be pronounced Jimmy, but everyone calls him Jyme) In his defense, his parents were illiterate, so they did the best they could.

In high school, there I knew a guy named Prince. Also knew a girl named Princess.

Also in high school, there were twins. Their names were Storm and Stormy.
